After two and a half years of waiting, postponing, lame excuses and unexpected last minute delays I’m not sure if this is really real or if I passed away last night and woke up in a parallel universe of infinite possibilities. But a box arrived today and it says Lab-Box.

I’ll keep it short but it looks like it’s getting pretty cold in hell right now – the LabBox project seems to be shipping the final product. We’ll see how it goes and if it arrives. And if it’s working.

After letting us all in the dark for several weeks we again receive a word from the Lab-Box team.

Lab-Box – late news are news too

Once again there was a delay in Lab-Box’s communication updates and another promise wasn’t kept. Of course this belated update has the same old purpose that we already know too well – they are sorry but they have to tell us another unforseen delay in delievery and the scapegoat is clear: the Chinese!

As I currently have a long article in the making which still needs some time to be finished I’ll just post a short update as the Lab-Box Kickstarter campaign informed all backers about its latest progress.
Some progress in the Lab-Box project
No reason for premature celebrations but it looks like the Lab-Box development tank will one day become reality. The makers posted a new update here and they seem to have made some progress. And they encountered new issues, so hang on…
Finally some real Lab-Box progress?
I see this as a first light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe someday we will see a finished product. Hang on.
How to travel through three countries in two weeks

After travelling to rather uncommon holiday places like Ukraine, Russia, China and Iran in the last few years we wanted to get a little bit more laid back and we decided to do a small roadtrip through the baltic countries Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in our two weeks of summer holidays in 2018. To most people these countries still are very uncommon compared to the super popular travel places in southern Europe so I’d like to share some impressions here.
