It’s been quite a while since I wrote the last update in this blog. This was primarily because there is little or no photographic news from me. Nevertheless I want to use the New Year as an opportunity to post at least a few pictures of my trip to Scotland. The trip was already a few months ago, so I don’t want to write much about it, but the photos are nice memories.
After two and a half years of waiting, postponing, lame excuses and unexpected last minute delays I’m not sure if this is really real or if I passed away last night and woke up in a parallel universe of infinite possibilities. But a box arrived today and it says Lab-Box.
I’ll keep it short but it looks like it’s getting pretty cold in hell right now – the LabBox project seems to be shipping the final product. We’ll see how it goes and if it arrives. And if it’s working.

On the very last day of March comes the March update but finally we are seeing some real progress and maybe we will see a shipment in the year of 2019: Read their usual yadda yadda.
After letting us all in the dark for several weeks we again receive a word from the Lab-Box team.
Once again there was a delay in Lab-Box’s communication updates and another promise wasn’t kept. Of course this belated update has the same old purpose that we already know too well – they are sorry but they have to tell us another unforseen delay in delievery and the scapegoat is clear: the Chinese!
Our last trip this year took us to Georgia in October. We had two complete weeks to discover the small country in the Southern Caucasus.

I have owned my Contax T2 for 2 years, and I have grown very fond of it. When you realize that worldly possessions begin to take possession of you, it’s time to part with it. I hope that another photographer will have as much joy with the camera as I had.
As I currently have a long article in the making which still needs some time to be finished I’ll just post a short update as the Lab-Box Kickstarter campaign informed all backers about its latest progress.
